Line Rot for iPhone and iPad · iOS 17 or later
Email marcelgelink@gmail.com and describe what happened. Telling us the level number and what you drew helps a great deal.
How do I play?
Draw every line on the board. Each line you draw has to start where the last one ended, and you cannot draw the same line twice unless it is marked to be drawn twice.
Why did my run end when there was still time?
There is no shared clock. Each line burns its own fuse from the moment you draw it, and if any single line burns through, the run ends — even if everything else was fresh. The oldest line is always the one at risk, and its colour tells you how close it is.
My run ended and I had not finished drawing.
A run also ends when there is no legal line left to draw from where you are standing. The game stops immediately rather than making you wait, and you can look at the board to see where the route went wrong before restarting.
What do the symbols mean?
Each one is explained the first time it appears. To see it again, tap ? at the top of the board — it lists every symbol used in the level you are on.
I am stuck on a level.
Tap the bulb to watch a route that works. It is available three times a day, the count is shown under the bulb, and it resets the next day. A level solved this way counts as cleared.
A level will not unlock.
Levels open in order within a chapter. A new chapter opens once you have cleared 15 of the 20 levels in the one before it, so a single hard puzzle never blocks the rest.
Can I move my progress to another device?
No. Progress is stored only on the device you played on, and there is no account or cloud save. Deleting the app clears it permanently.
Is there any advertising or purchase?
No. There is no advertising, no in-app purchase and no subscription, and the game never goes online.
