Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Line Rot ("the app") is made by the developer of Line Rot, contactable at marcelgelink@gmail.com. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it does not collect any.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics or measurement SDK, and no advertising. It does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, location, or device identifiers.
Network access
The app does not use the network. It contains no code that opens a network connection, so no information about you or your device is transmitted anywhere, and none can be.
What is stored on your device
The app saves your own progress locally, using the standard iOS preferences store inside its sandbox:
- which levels you have completed
- which symbols have already been explained to you
- how many solution replays you have used today, and the date
This stays on your device. It is not readable by us or by other apps. Deleting the app removes it.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, children included.
Third parties
The app bundles no third-party SDKs and shares no data with anyone, because it holds none to share.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date above.
